it folds
into a fetal position
by night
relaxing unto
itself
and by day
props up
like a marionette
dedicated
to the sun

Beautiful
Thank you!
Artistaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Lovely flower, lovely poem, but no origami for me. Third grade: Fold paper, cut, unfold. Twenty-five paper snowflakes, six points each; one paper snowflake, eight points. Guess who managed to get eight points. Three times. Teacher tried so hard, then (wisely) gave up. So did I.
Your comment has me grinning from ear to ear.
Thanks Kathy. 😀
