Cactus

I saved a 2 inch piece of healthy cactus that was dying and planted it.  That was a few years ago.  It thrives in the NW sun.

Not exactly pretty but it has lots of character.  It does its own thing.

One day when I have time, I will transplant it into a more attractive container.  You can’t see it, but it’s in a very small lady bug mug.

If plants have gender, I think this one is a boy. 😉

  1. I am constantly amazed at how resilient mother nature is. I like the wild meandering structure. It’s beautiful in it’s simplicity. 🙂

  4. Beautiful post. Yes, character is what counts. But I do think your cactus boy is very handsome. I totally agree with adignorantium (wow, what a name to spell 🙂 ) Heila
